Clough and Saipem are delivering the engineering, procurement of equipment and materials, construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning for Perdaman Industries’ Urea Plant Project, a latest-generation fertiliser plant with a capacity of 2.14 million tonnes of urea per year, making it one of the largest in the world. Urea is a vital fertiliser in global food production.
Whittens is delivering the Package 3 and 4 concrete construction works, including power generation, air separation, causeway, and urea storage.
The scope of works includes:
- Pedestals, footings, walls, and slabs
- Pile cropping (520 piles) and associated bulk and detailed earthworks
- 30,000m3 of reinforced concrete
